I opened Woah Nellie Great Dane Rescue to help save the lives of the breed that saved mine. Prior to purchasing my first great dane, I suffered from depression and suicidal thoughts constantly. My mom sent me a picture of a puppy and told me that the money was in my account if I wanted her. She was a TINY black and white pup that I decided to name "Noelle." The bond that formed between this dog and I was unbreakable. I finally felt like I had a purpose and like something needed me to be here. I nicknamed my sweet Noelle, "Nellie" and in 2017 opened Woah Nellie Great Dane Rescue in her honor. She helped me work with many behavior cases prior to her passing in July of 2020. We work hard at giving every dane in need a chance at the perfect life full of love. We are a small, foster based rescue determined to make a difference.
