We are committed to creating a flourishing future for our kids.
Thrive believes in a New Orleans where our families have high-quality jobs, our community has the infrastructure for climate change, and our neighborhoods are stable.
We know that racial equity is how we will thrive, together, by tackling New Orleans most systemic challenges.
As a deeply invested community organization, we recognize unmet needs and respond accordingly with programs, resources, and care. This is Equity: because true equity requires providing people with what they need in order to thrive.
How does Thrive New Orleans do it?
1. Thrive's T9 community center engages kids in robust programming and mentors them toward a bright and flourishing future.
2. Thrive's green programs are building the infrastructure to give our next generation a city that can manage stormwater.
3. Thrive trains BIPOC with specialized skills in green infrastructure and connects them to in-demand, living wage jobs that provide for themselves and their families.
4. Thrive expands the capacity of black-owned businesses by equipping them to win contracts in the blue-green industry. We know that black-owned small businesses create j
