At The Inner Pup (TIP), our mission is simple: keep pets healthy, happy, and at home with the families who love them. We work daily to remove financial barriers to pet care , so no one has to surrender their pet due to the cost of prevention, treatment, or training. Since our founding, we have: Helped 2,500 families keep their pets safe at home Hosted 128 clinics in underserved neighborhoods Dispensed 53,475 months of heartworm prevention and 42,418 months of flea prevention Enrolled 111 dogs in affordable heartworm treatment, with 104 dogs now heartworm-free Helped 1,600 pets in 2024 alone We provide accessible, low-cost veterinary care through Heartworm Prevention Clinics, training support, and community outreach, ensuring pet owners get the necessary resources. As we expand into Baton Rouge and commit to a four-year neighborhood initiative in New Orleans, we are developing a national model for pet welfare in underserved communities.
