Our organization provides a myriad of services including, but not limited to: *Academic - In 2002, our organization received a grant ($102,000.00 - TANF) from the Louisiana State Department of Education - to implement a high-quality afterschool tutorial/enrichment program and summer institutes to provide academic support, technology access, arts enrichment, community development projects, guided physical activities, critical thinking skills development, service learning, and health improvement. The Department renewed our contract each year thereafter - until 2005 which necessitated the suspension of services due to the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina. *The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation: From the years 2015 to the present, our organization has received "Community Partnership Grants In-School/Summer Programs in Arts Education" from The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation. The program teaches instrumental music to youth in the Greater New Orleans Area. The Program conducted weekly/bi-weekly music instruction sessions for two (2) hours twice a week during the school year and three (3) hours twice a week during the summer months. ***Due to the Pandemic whic
