Founded in 1998, SpayMart operates a combination thrift store/adoption center in Metairie, LA, as well as an adoption center located in PetSmart in the Elmwood Shopping Center in New Orleans. In addition to our Kitten Foster Program, adoption centers, the Felicity Fund, and our sanctuary, we subsidize spay/neuter procedures for outdoor cats trapped by local volunteers and offer programs like Seniors for Seniors (fee-waived adoptions for senior cats & humans), Rescue Transport (relocating cats & dogs to shelter partners in the north), and a low-cost spay-neuter voucher program. We are dedicated to saving and changing lives in our community!
