Raintree Children & Family Services

About this Organization

Since its founding in 1926, Raintree has been dedicated to caring for vulnerable infants, children, and youth. Originally established to assist with adoptions, Raintree has since expanded its mission to focus on helping foster children and youth achieve permanency-whether through family reunification, adoption, or transitioning to independent adulthood. Additional services include mentoring and case management for former foster youth aged 18 to 21 as they navigate life after care. Over the years, Raintree has impacted thousands of young lives, many of whom return to express their gratitude for the support that played a crucial role in their growth and healing. Raintree is frequently recognized for its outstanding work with children and youth. Additionally, we have been nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation since 2006.

Raintree operates the following programs: Family Support Coordination provides case management services to infants and toddlers who experience a developmental delay or disabling condition; Raintree House provides a group home for teenage girls who have been abused and/or neglected; and Family Care provides foster care homes in the community.
