Since 1984, Northshore Food Bank has provided food assistance to thousands of families each year facing food insecurity in St. Tammany Parish. Each week, Northshore Food Bank distributes food to roughly 400 individuals and families, thanks to the generosity of our community.

Northshore Food Bank's programs support a wide range of needs, including seniors, children, families, and those facing medical challenges. The Food Bank provides pantry staples, fresh produce, and specialized food boxes designed for dietary needs; through school-based and seasonal programs, Northshore Food Bank ensures children have access to nutritious food during weekends, holidays, and summer months. Northshore Food Bank also works alongside local organizations to extend our reach, ensuring food assistance is available to those who might otherwise go without.
