Thousands of individuals and families in our community struggle with food insecurity, with 14.1% of the people who live in St. Tammany Parish lacking reliable access to nutritious meals. Northshore Food Bank works every day to change that by providing essential food assistance to those in need.

In 2024 alone, Northshore Food Bank distributed nearly 1 million pounds of food, ensuring that seniors, children, and families facing hardship have access to pantry staple food items. With food distribution sites in Covington and Slidell, Northshore Food Bank is committed to ensuring no one in our community goes without a meal.
