Founded in 2014, the Marigny Opera House Foundation supports New Orleans-based performing artists, including the Marigny Opera Ballet, now in its 11th Season. What was once an abandoned church is now a vital center for the arts, offering an average of two performances per week of jazz, classical music, dance, theatre and more. Admission to nearly all of the performances are donation-based, with no one turned away for lack of funds.
