L.Y.F.E. of Dance Programs encourages, motivate and guide young ladies in making proper life choices through the "Art of Dance". Our Dance Programs gives members of the community an active, creative and engaging dance experience. Each program encourages individuals to express themselves in a fun and nurturing environment while they learn to work together, set goals, and build confidence. We work with these youth in small groups on developing their dance skills while interacting with others. All of the activities are designed to help the youth become healthier citizens of New Orleans. We also provide services to at risk youth to improve their self-image, communication skills, and learn new fitness activities as well as be mentored. The youth participate in dance lessons three times per week with embedded L.Y.F.E lessons after school.
