Thanks to supporters like you, more communities than ever have generated local funding measures for early care and education, but we still have much more to go. There are 100,000 in-need children ages birth to three across Louisiana that do not have access to affordable, quality child care. Thousands of parents are waiting on the Child Care Assistance Program waitlist. However, local communities that contribute to funding local, in-need child care seats can double those dollars with a 1:1 state match for their investment through the Louisiana Early Childhood Education Fund.
