Louisiana Green Corps enables adults 18-35 who are disconnected from education and work to overcome barriers to employment and career success while contributing to their community. We train individuals in essential hard and soft skills, work experience and career exploration, to ensure participants readiness to enter the growing green and blue workforce, while providing stability through stipends, supportive services, and strong community. Training and Certifications: 4 month Construction & Green Infrastructure training and certifications in: -NCCER Core -OSHA 10 -Forklift Operation -Clean Water (CWC) Program Support: - Professional development (career coaching, networking, soft skills, job placement assistance, environmental literacy, financial literacy) - Case Management & Supportive Services (including funds for transportation & childcare) - Earn up to $9,000 in stipends, paid work experience & incentives
