About this Organization

Pain To Purpose Ministry programs are: Serve hot meals with drinks/water and provide tennis shoes, clothes to homeless and low-income families, twice a month, every month. "Gift of Life Celebration at Christmas" where we prepare and serve seafood gumbo (two 110 quart pots), potatoe salad, dessert, drinks, and water and provide gifts of socks, shoes, sleeping bags, blankets, towels, body wash, deodorant, mouth wash, toothbrush, toothpaste, toilet tissue, hand sanitizer, shampoo and conditioner, hats and gloves, pillows, and pillow sets to homeless and low-income families. "Celebration of Life/Commemoration of Death" event on May 1st of every year, in memory of my son's death where we serve a special hot meal (t-bone steaks, baked potatoes with all trimmings, corn on a cob, fresh salad with all trimmings, dessert, cold drink, and water) to the homeless and low-income families. "Thanksgiving Feast" event takes place the week of Thanksgiving (prior to Thanksgiving day) where we serve turkey, ham, homemade cornbread dressing, homemade yams, baked macaroni, homemade pecan and sweet potato pies, dinner rolls, green beans, drinks, and water. "Easter" event takes place the week prior.
