As one of the area's few mixed voice choruses, and the only mixed a cappella community chorus, Nola Vox actively engages in the local area to build membership and recognition of a cappella music. Nola Vox is founded to reflect the musical history and rich diversity of New Orleans as well as create and run music education programs for a cappella ensemble music within the New Orleans community. Additionally, as proud members of the international Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS), Nola Vox works to connect the chorus's mission with the BHS's recent vision of Everyone in Harmony. Nola Vox's intent is to ensure harmony is more than just singing and performing but also sharing music with all.
