WISHES ARE POWERFUL At Make-A-Wish, we grant life-changing wishes for local kids, for a wish is a powerful component of their treatment journey. A common misconception is that we only grant "last wishes" for terminally ill children. However, aided by the experience of having their wish granted, the overwhelming majority (more than 70 percent) of wish kids live into adulthood, most beating their illness completely. Wishes transform lives: those of wish kids, their families, our staff, our volunteers. Anyone involved with a wish is forever changed by the experience. Together, Make-A-Wish creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses, and it is our vision to grant the wish of every eligible child. Your investment brings this vision to life.
